Our Story
Pit Boss Tools was created by a father and son team from the Midwest who love excellence in serving up good food, cooking it right, and eating well.
We’ve enjoyed gathering with our family over the winter holidays and decided to host a summer picnic to take a break from busy schedules and have an excuse to get together. And summer is also prime grilling, smoking, and flat top griddling season!
We’ve grilled, smoked, and griddled a lot of stuff: whole turkeys, turkey legs, turkey breast, prime rib, salmon, pork shoulder, loin and tenderloin, brisket, roasts, any steak you can think of, kielbasa, brats, ham—and of course, burgers. One of our cousins shared that when his wife told him they were coming to our house for a summer party, he got so excited and said, “I don’t know what we’re having, but I know there is going to be some awesome meat!”
Over the years we noticed a disappointing lack of quality spatulas on the market. Every spatula we purchased and used—no matter the quality or reviews—would always bend through use.
So we set off to design and make our own.
Through years of trial and error, research and development—and lots of meat eaten for testing purposes!—we finally launched The Burger Boss, the first in our lineup of superior cooking tools.
We are excited to share our passion for quality cooking gear that will help you make some great food. And we’re just getting started!
